The Realme Q3 series was launched in China on Thursday. The lineup succeeds the Realme Q2 series that was launched in 2020. The new series has three devices, the Realme Q3 5G, Realme Q3 Pro 5G, and the Realme Q3i 5G. All three smartphones feature 5G connectivity. While the company did not reveal anything about the Realme Q3 series Indian launch, these devices are expected to be limited to the Chinese market considering that the Q2 lineup hasn’t made it to the Indian market either. However, the phones may launch in India under a different series.

Realme Q3 series prices


The Realme Q3i 5G is the cheapest of the lot with a price tag starting at CNY 1,099 (approximately Rs 12,703) for the 4GB+128GB variant. It is also available in 6GB+128GB configuration and it will set you back by CNY 1,199 (approximately Rs 13,859).

The Realme Q3 5G price starts at CNY 1,299 (approximately Rs 15,015) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version. The phone also comes in 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and it costs CNY 1,399 (approximately Rs 16,171).

The Realme Q3 Pro 5G price starts at CNY 1,599 (approximately Rs 18,483) for the 6GB+128GB variant. The 8GB+128GB model costs CNY 1,799 (approximately Rs 20,794) and the 8GB+256GB version is priced at CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs 23,106).

The Realme Q3 5G and the Realme Q3 Pro 5G pre-orders in China will start from April 22nd at 09:30 PM CST (07:00 PM IST) and the devices will go on sale in the country from April 29th at 12:00 AM CST (09:30 PM IST). The Realme Q3i 5G will go on sale in China on April 22nd at 09:30 PM CST.

Realme Q3 5G specifications


The Realme Q3 features a 6.5-inch display with IPS LCD technology, Full HD+ (2,400 x 1080 pixels) resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 600 nits brightness. The display has a punch-hole that is mounted to the top-left corner of the screen. The phone measures 162.5 x 74.8 x 8.8mm and weighs 189 grams.

When it comes to imaging, the Realme Q3 Pro features a triple-camera setup at the rear. It has a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The primary camera at the rear supports 4K video recording at 30 fps. For selfies, you get a 16MP camera with Full HD video recording at 30 fps. 

Powering the Realme Q3 5G is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor. It is built on an 8nm fabrication process. The device features the Android 11 operating system with the Realme UI 2.0 custom theme on top. As mentioned earlier, the device comes in 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB configurations.

The Realme Q3 packs a 5,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging. The device has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a dedicated microSD card slot. Connectivity options include dual-SIM, dual-5G with support for SA/NSA, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v5.1, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port.

Realme Q3 Pro 5G specifications


The Realme Q3 Pro comes with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display featuring Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. The punch hole on the display is mounted to the top-left corner of the screen. According to the brand, the dimensions of the Realme Q3 Pro are 158.5 x 73.3 x 8.4mm and the weight of the device is just 179 grams.

Moving on to the photography capabilities of the device, the Realme Q3 Pro has a triple-camera setup at the rear comprising of a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. Unlike the Realme Q3, the primary camera of this smartphone can record 4K videos at 60 frames per second. The selfies are taken care of by a 16-megapixel camera that can record 1080p/30fps videos.

Coming to the processor, the Realme Q3 Pro 5G has the MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC that uses 6nm transistors. On the software side of things, the phone has the Android 11 OS with the Realme UI 2.0 customization. The device is available in three memory configurations, 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB, and 8GB+256GB. It is worth mentioning that the device uses UFS 3.1 storage.

The Realme Q3 Pro 5G is equipped with a 4,500mAh battery with 30W charging. Like the Realme Q3, the Realme Q3 also comes with dual-SIM dual-5G, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth v5.1, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The device has an in-display fingerprint scanner and it also packs stereo speakers.

Realme Q3i 5G specifications


The Realme Q3i 5G sports a 6.5-inch screen with FHD+ (2,400 x 1,080 pixels) resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, a 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 600 nits brightness. Like the two other devices in the lineup, the Realme Q3i 5G also has a left-mounted punch-hole on the display.

In terms of imaging, the Realme Q3i 5G sports three rear cameras, a 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP monochrome camera, and a 2MP macro camera. Taking care of the selfies is a 16MP camera at the front. Realme has not shared any information regarding the video recording capabilities of front and rear cameras.

The Realme Q3i 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC that has 7nm nodes. The phone comes in two variants, 4GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB. The device has Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0 skin. 

The Realme Q3i 5G features a 5,000mAh battery along with 18W fast charging. The connectivity options of the device include two SIM card slots with both of them supporting the 5G network, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v5.0, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. The phone also a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
