Realme MagDart wireless chargers’ design leaked in new renders

A few days ago, an unannounced product from Realme, the Realme MagDart, was spotted on the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) platform. Going by the name, the Realme MagDart seemed to be a charger with magnetic wireless charging technology, similar to the Apple MagSafe. However, there were no other details available regarding the Realme MagDart back then. Well, that changes today. A new report from Gizmochina reveals alleged renders of the Realme MagDart wireless chargers. Yes, that’s right. There is not one but two MagDart chargers. These renders also hint at the MagDart specifications. Let us have a look.

Realme MagDart wireless charger design leaked

Gizmochina has revealed rendered images of two Realme MagDart chargers. The first Realme MagDart wireless charger has a slim design. It looks like a puck that can be attached to the rear panel of a smartphone, just like the Apple MagSafe. According to Gizmochina, this is indeed a magnetic wireless charger. If that turns out to be true, Realme could be the first brand to offer MagSafe-like magnetic wireless charging for Android smartphones. Although there is no information regarding the charging speed it will offer, Gizmochina speculates that it could come with a 15W charging speed, similar to the MagSafe.

The second Realme MagDart wireless charger looks significantly larger than the first model. It also has a ventilation grill at the rear, which seems to have been implemented to keep the temperature in check. So, I am thinking that it is some kind of wireless charging pad with superfast charging speed. We can expect it to offer a charging speed that is in line with the fastest wireless chargers in the market, such as the Xiaomi 67W fast wireless charger. The Realme MagDart charger also has a USB Type-C port at the rear. Hopefully, we will know more about it as the launch nears.
