News about Realme launching laptops in the Indian market has been doing rounds for quite some time. Though the company hasn’t officially teased this yet, it was rumoured that the Realme laptop launch in India would happen by mid-2021. It now seems the company is finally ready to launch laptops in India soon as it just posted a user survey on the Realme community website asking fans about their laptop preferences. As it is a new product category for Realme, the company hopes to bring out the right product.
“We have been seeing tons of requests for a Laptop, and we want to better understand your needs. As you guys already know, we place great value on the information and feedback you provide. This is the time to share your opinion with us,” said Realme in a forum post.

The survey covers questions about users’ social media usage, current laptop brand they own, laptop activities, what influences their laptop buying decision, and how much are they willing to spend on a laptop — with up to Rs 50,000 and above option. It also has a question on which feature will be most important when buying a laptop, with battery, processor, display size, quality, and other hardware as options. The survey also includes questions about user’s current smartphone brand and how satisfied they are with it. We speculate the Realme laptop may have seamless connectivity with Realme phones.
Lastly, the company wants to know how willing are users’ to upgrade their current laptop in the next three month, which suggests that Realme may bring its laptop in the next few weeks, if not a couple of months. An earlier report said the young brand may launch laptops sometime around June this year. You can check out the survey here.
